Jazz guitarist and composer Christopher Morrison has recorded and/or performed with Richie Cole, John Patitucci, Adam Nussbaum, Harvie S, Yoron Israel , Brian Torff, Chip Jackson, John Stowell, Lew Soloff, and Ralph Lalama. 

Chris earned a Masters of Music in Jazz Performance from The Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase and a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Western Connecticut State University.   He has studied with Sal Salvador, and Charlie Banacos. Chris is an Adjunct Professor at Western Connecticut State University , where he teaches jazz  guitar.  He is also an instructor at Fairfield University , Naugatuck Valley Community College , Western Connecticut State University Summer Music Camp, and the National Guitar Workshop.  He is an Artist Representative for Froc Filipetti Guitars and released his first recording as a leader in the spring of 2003.
